Product description
The Chauvin Arnoux C.A 6422 is a portable earth tester for 2-pole resistance and 3-pole earth measurements. Its 3P earth range runs from 0.5 Ω to 2 kΩ. It is used for commissioning and maintenance of earth electrodes, with stakes and leads suited to the measurement method. Its backlit display and noise indication make readings easier on site, and it runs on six AA/LR6 batteries.

What is the earth measurement range of the C.A 6422?
With the 3P method the range is 0.5 Ω to 2 kΩ. 2P resistance covers 0.05 Ω to 50 kΩ: the two ranges describe different measurements.
How does it differ from the C.A 6424?
The C.A 6422 runs on AA/LR6 batteries and its 3P range stops at 2 kΩ. The C.A 6424 goes up to 50 kΩ, with rechargeable batteries and current measurement through an optional G72 clamp.
