Product description
This MV surge arrester has a ribbed polymer housing, a top terminal and a mounting bracket, with an earth lead. It protects the equipment of a distribution network against overvoltages. Its selection takes account of the network’s electrical characteristics and insulation coordination: the housing shape or number of sheds cannot fix the rated voltage. The neutral earthing, overvoltage conditions and earth connection should be reviewed before choosing it. Reference, rated voltage and protection levels are confirmed in the quotation.
